Sir William Bentley Billiards restores, designs and makes the world’s most beautiful tables. The skilled craftsmen in their workshops in rural England have established a tradition of excellence; excellence both as table makers and as restorers and renovators of antiques. Their standards are of the very highest, working on each table with exacting attention to detail. From the unique dual-purpose tables to traditionally fixed height tables, whether new or antique, they are proud of their craftsmanship.
Whether you are looking for a contemporary design, a more traditional appearance, or the most varied selection of antique tables, we can help.
The Bentley showrooms in the beautiful countryside on the border of Berkshire & Wiltshire provide elegant surroundings in which to view the ever-changing display of tables, with over 300 tables currently in stock. Here you will find tables in rich rosewood, intricate burr woods, figured and flamed mahogany tables and quarter-sawn oak, many with finely carved and inlaid details. Tables from all periods are on offer and our showrooms are open 7 days a week (by appointment).

They have some of the world’s most important and historic tables whose provenance and makers we actively research. For instance, they have a table made for King George V, Tsar Nicholas of Russia’s table and accessories and the table belonging to the unbeaten world champion Joe Davis to name just a few.
Alongside these antiques are unique precision-engineered dual-purpose tables, in either rollover or wind-up versions (both manually or electronically operated). These are tailor-made to individual customer requirements. The size, design, wood, stain, finish and cloth are all yours to choose.
